AUGUST 15th ELECTRONICS ECSTACY UPDATE 6/15: We were blessed with near perfect race weather, getting Saturday's Perkins CONOCO race event done just ahead of the rain. We had a great turnout with several new faces coming out for the shot at the covetted JACKALOPE trophies on Sunday. Congratulations to ALL the winners. The LONG DISTANCE award goes to Everett Smith for making the trek all the way from El Paso, TX just to race for a JACKALOPE, maybe next time he can take the trophy home. Get ready for the Junior Dragster Challenge. Novice, Intermediate and Advanced classes will be competing for a unique trophy on June 28. All other classes will also be competing for points. Saturday is all classes with buybacks and Jackpot, time permitting. UPDATE 6/7: RULES change for ELECTRONIC ECSTACY 8/15! Overwhelming response from you the racers created this change. As of now, ANY NHRA approved electronic gizmo will be allowed. All the buttons and control devices your car has can be used. There will be NO CROSSTALK set up for this event. C&S Tractor & Equipment has provided a brand new 2008 Pace American Rallye G.S. to DMP, proceeds go to track improvements. Tickets are $50 for a 1:250 shot at driving a new trailer home! Raffle to be held at a noontime driver's meeting as soon as all the tickets are sold. Welcome to the official page of Douglas Motorsports Park in Douglas, Wyoming.
